Has your group size changed after making a booking? No problem at all, you don’t need to notify us in advance. You always pay the price that applies to the actual amount of players on the day itself. If you have already paid in advance and you show up with less players, then we will refund the price-difference immediately. And if you show up with more players than in your booking, then you can pay the extra amount on the day itself, with cash or card.
We regularly welcome children’s parties, from 9 years old and upwards, children have a great time! We do require at least one accompanying (and paying) adult per team. If you make a booking for a children’s party, then please mention the average age of the children in the comments-section. This allows us to adjust the difficulty-level of the escape room (don’t worry, we’ll keep it challenging (-:
The Mansion can be played with 2 to 8 players. For an optimal experience we would advise 3 to 6 players per group. We’ve seen many couples conquer The Mansion, just be prepared for an extra challenging game! And there’s certainly enough mysteries to be solved for 8!
From experience, we know that The Mansion can get quite busy with more than 8 people — but if there are 9 of you, that’s absolutely fine! When booking, you can simply select 9 participants.
If your group has 10 or more people, we recommend booking two back-to-back games. While one group is playing, the others can relax in our lounge with a drink and enjoy one of our fun games or puzzles. Plus, the group that played first can later watch the second group play live on our monitors. Some even find that more fun than playing themselves!
The Mansion is mysterious and surprising, but there is certainly nothing to be afraid of. Yet if for any reason you might want to leave the room, that is possible at any time.
No, we ask you beforehand to store all your phones, valuables, coats and bags in one of our free lockers. This guarantees an optimal game experience. Everything you will need is in The Mansion.
You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to two days in advance, simply send an e-mail to info@operationexit.nl. If a game is cancelled with less than 48 hours to go, then we charge a 60% cancellation fee.
Absolutely not. The Mansion is located in a monument which is nearly 100 years old, so some caution is required. And above all: you’ll need to be as sharp as you can be. If our game-host suspects someone is intoxicated or if someone is disrupting the game, then they will be asked to leave the game.
Unfortunately Operation Exit is not accessible by wheelchair. We are located on the first floor, at the top of a staircase. The Mansion is also not fully accessible with a wheelchair.
